The Internship

Billy (Vince Vaughn) and Nick (Owen Wilson) are salesmen whose careers have been torpedoed by the digital world. Trying to prove they are not obsolete, they defy the odds by talking their way into a coveted internship at Google, along with a battalion of brilliant college students. But, gaining entrance to this utopia is only half the battle. Now they must compete with a group of the nation’s most elite, tech-savvy geniuses to prove that necessity really is the mother of re-invention. ( )

I watched this film out of curiosity because it seemed really interesting to me when I happen to see its trailer which was pretty timely as my brothers and I were just talking then on how would it feel like working in Google. At first, I never thought that I’d like this film but as the movie progresses I found so  many sense in it. I found myself nodding and even made me reflect and relate it to my own life too. It is not just a comedy movie, it has lessons too which is really cool. It showed me about persistence and perseverance could really take you to your dream, believe in it, work hard for it, never give up and in no time you’ll get there, you’ll have it. In all honesty, it inspired me. It showed that life may bring us surreal surprises that may bring us down and the key is, to help yourself up. It also taught me about not being afraid of change and getting out of your comfort zones because it’ll make you experience more and grow up.

  1. You know what’s funny, I watched this this weekend not seeing that you watched this too. It’s so true though this moving is surprisingly inspiring. 🙂 Dreams and life are worth pursuing. No matter how far fetched they may seem, they are still worth the effort. Don’t give up before you have even begun 🙂
